Projects and other things

DofT has done a lot of things of the years. Some of these are onging projects with no set goals and other are one-off projects with some specific goal. While a few of these projects were done at the request of someone that he may have even been paid for, many are projects that he took on himself either to see if he could actually do it, for his own amusement, or to make life easier in some fashion. Most of the things that DofT works on fall into one or more of these categories

• DofTNet: Not the company, but all the technological infrastructure that many of his projectes live on.
• Online: Past and present websites and online services that DofT has set up, and how he uses them.
• Home Automation: How DofT knows when someone toucehed the thermostat from 500 miles away.
• Electronics: Things that DofT built that makes electrons do his bidding. Sometimes with blinking lights
• Mechanical: Things that DofT built out that possibly use gears and wheels and things.
• Software: Programs and scripts DofT wrote to do a thing.
• Artistic: DofT has an artistic side too. Mostly origami, but occasionally takes on or assists in other artistic endeavours.
• Tinkering: It's like doodling, but with technology.
• Collections: DofT likes to horde shiny things.
• Radiological: As a child of Los Alamos, DofT has a thing for radiation and radioactivity.
• Science: It's like tinkering, but with the laws of nature.
